The Big Green Challenge
This prize is about encouraging change and innovation. Nesta is challenging you to reduce CO2 emissions in your community - which can be local, regional or more widely dispersed - by 60%. Are you up to the challenge? Ten finalists will have a year to show that they can turn their ideas into action. The winner will be announced in late 2009. One Planet Cinema
Capacity Global and Every Action Counts have launched One Planet Cinema (OPC), a new initiative to engage diverse community groups across England on climate change. By meeting in community settings with free film screenings and discussions about taking action on environmental issues, they hope to encourage and inspire groups to take similar action on climate change.
