Need Volunteers?

Voluntary Action Shrewsbury advertises and recruits volunteers in a variety of ways:
  • interviews and drop-in sessions at the Volunteer Centre office (previously known as Shrewsbury Volunteer Bureau),
  • through this website,
  • through the national volunteering website, www.do-it.org.uk,
  • at events
  • at talks to statutory organisations, schools & colleges, pre-retirement courses etc.

If you have urgent needs for volunteers we make special efforts to give extra publicity to these through our monthly newsletter ('The VAN'), press releases and on this website.

 
We hold a huge volunteering database with information on local voluntary organisations and their volunteering opportunities.

But this is pointless if the information on your volunteering needs is inaccurate or out-of-date.

Please help us to help you by keeping us informed of any changes to details or if you have sufficient volunteers for the time-being.
