Self Help Africa

Ambassadors/Speakers required

Self Help Africa ambassadors/speakers required

Self Help Africa is a charity which works with rural communities in 9 countries in Africa to help them produce enough food to feed themselves and earn an income.

Formerly known as Harvest Help, we have recently merged with another charity and are in the process of building a team of ambassadors across the UK who cam promote the work of Self Help Africa in their local area.

The role of an ambassador includes:

  • giving short talks to schools, churches and community groups,

  • representing SHA at local events such as fetes and shows

  • writing to the local press with reports of your activities

  • coordinating SHA supporters in your area

Self Help Africa will provide you with resources including: power point presentations, leaflets, posters, advice and assembly pack.

A commitment of any amount of time to any of the above activities would be greatly appreciated.
